it could be better for them to book the return ticket for Bucharest Otopeni airport.
This visit is intended for those willing to visit our Tandem accelerator complex (1&3 MV Tandetrons, https://dfna.nipne.ro/en/)
along the ELI-NP facility, the most powerful laser in the world at this moment (https://www.eli-np.ro).
This trip schedule is the following: Friday, 22nd of July, shortly after the closing of the conference the participants willing to visit our institute will leave for Magurele, near Bucharest. We will provide the transportation to Magurele.
The participants for this trip will have the possibility to stay at the Guest House of our institute for Friday night. The visit will start on Saturday at 10 o'clock in the morning and will last around 3 hours,
ending around 13:00. The time needed to reach Otopeni airport from our institute is about one hour and a half (1h:30 min). For those willing to depart right after the visit ends one needs to book the
plane ticket after 16:30 – 17:00 on Saturday (at least 1 hour to reach the airport and at least 2 hours before the flight departure).
For those who do not plan to leave on Saturday, Bucharest can be a nice place to visit. Museums, parks, botanical garden, etc. can be a nice addition to the beautiful Sibiu.
